how to get up-when you want to give up

focus on your why

Remind yourself of why you started in the first place. What was your initial goal, and what motivated you to pursue it? Keeping your "why" in mind can help you rekindle your passion and recommit to your goal. So when you feel that you are standing at a cross road choose the one way that is least walked on. Take your time and find your why, it is there you just got lost in your tracks.

break it down

If your goal feels overwhelming, try breaking it down into smaller, more manageable tasks. This can help you feel more in control and give you a sense of progress as you check off each item on your list. Remember. Breaking things down can feel overwhelming and almost destructive, but when you do you also open up for new perspectives, growth and ideas.

seek support

Talk to someone you trust about how you're feeling. Whether it's a friend, family member, or a coach, sharing your struggles with someone else can help you gain perspective and feel less alone.seeking support is one of the most courageous things you can do, because being vulnerable is far from accepted in this perfect world. But when you do you’ll be amazed at the joy your network will get from helping you out. So asking for help can fell as a selfish act but I learned that it is a gift that you give to others to make them feel needed.

practice selfcare

Taking care of yourself is crucial when you're feeling low. Make sure you're getting enough sleep, eating well, and engaging in activities that bring you joy and relaxation. Again taking care of you might feellike a selfish act but when you do you tell your whole system that you are worthy and with that comes the strength of moving on.

reframe your mindset

Reframe your mindset: Instead of thinking about how hard or impossible your goal feels, try reframing your mindset to focus on the progress you've already made. Celebrate your wins, no matter how small, and use them as motivation to keep going. I try to keep a journal, my routine is to do a reflection in the morning with morning pages. I let the pen flow and even when I write seemingly jibberish it is satisfying to see my creative juices coming to life again, just from the movement of my hand across the pages.
